Dermal fillers

Due to the natural aging process, the skin gradually loses its reserves of collagen and fat. Namely, these components make up the skeleton of the skin, preventing its “sagging”. Dermal fillers help to restore the skin to its former youthful appearance. The injection is made in the area where it is necessary to give volume. In modern cosmetology, due to the increasing demand for minimally invasive aesthetic procedures, the filler market is growing.

Over the years, the technique has been widely used by women to increase the size and volume of the lips. However, intradermal fillers are equally effective for men – for correcting lines around the lips and nasolabial folds, reducing crow’s feet and facial wrinkles in the frontal lobe.

Fillers are classified into the following types

  1. Capable of fast resorption.

Collagen was the first filler approved as a dermal filler for soft tissue augmentation. Extracted from the skin of a cow, it was subjected to meticulous cleaning until it became similar to the characteristics of collagen found in human skin.

Allergic skin testing should be done before the procedure, as some people have a positive reaction to animal products.

Collagen fillers also vary in density. The most widely used drug for soft tissue augmentation is hyaluronic acid (HA). It is a natural substance found in the intercellular space of soft tissues. HA provides the skin with all the necessary components – it is due to hyaluronic acid that the skin is elastic and moisturized. The added acid replenishes the moisture balance of the skin, stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, increases elasticity, heals and improves the general condition: wrinkles are smoothed, a lifting effect arises, that is, the contours of the face are tightened. In comparison with collagen, hyaluronic acid appears to be more compatible with the human body. For this reason, its use practically does not cause allergic reactions and does not require additional skin tests. Intradermal fillers based on stabilized non-animal hyaluronic acid are specially designed for solving aesthetic problems and are microinjection gel with different viscosity levels. Designed to correct imperfections in the face contour (folds, wrinkles), reshape and increase the size of the lips.

 It is positioned as a filler with a long-lasting effect (1-2 years) to eliminate wrinkles and folds, as well as to shape the face contour. All filler ingredients have undergone a rigorous procedure for safety and effectiveness, and are widely used in aesthetic medicine.

  1. Non-absorbable fillers.

A newer class of fillers that are characterized by a very long-lasting effect in soft tissues. On the recommendation of specialists, this type of filler can be prescribed only in individual cases. Despite the lack of a wide range of applications, the product line includes the following types:

– particles in the form of beads of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), extracted from bovine collagen;

– particles of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) extracted from hyaluronic acid;

– polyacrylamide;

– hyaluronic acid with dextran microspheres (bacterial polysaccharide, glucose polymer).

Different injection techniques are used depending on the type of filler and the area of injection. Buy fillers online to make you look better. There are three main techniques used to fill in wrinkles:

Linear – the entire body of the needle is immersed in the core of the wrinkle, the gel is injected when the needle is pulled back.

The sequential piercing technique – along a wrinkle or fold to achieve a lifting effect, a series of injections are performed in the form of a line.

The fan technique is used when it is necessary to increase the volume of relatively large areas of the face surface (for example, sunken cheeks).
